From August 4, 2016, the transition process has been an experiential learning healing season for me. Each small step moving forward from:
- Letting Go the Old ME
- Accepting the New ME
- Embracing the New ME
These small steps on this journey led to the resilient outcome
“The Best ME – Reimagined.” My Wellness Truth “Wearing the New ME”
- My Thinking
- My Abilities
- My Talk
- My Walk
- My Look
- My Style
- My Social Life
I began to unconditionally love myself with peace of mind and joy in my heart every step of the way on this healing journey.
“Meet the ME God sees – Nice to meet the two of you” - Pastor Steven Furtick
The first stage in the transition process was to grieve by Letting Go of the Old ME.
There are many different stages of grief and trauma PSTD stages. Some of the stages are the same and/or similar experiences but are different processes.
Psychologists have identified six grieving stages: Shock – disbelief; Numbness – Denial; Bargaining – Control; Frustration – Anger; Depression – Despair and Acceptance – Peace.
The second stage in the transition process for me was Accepting the New ME.
Psychologists have identified seven trauma PSTD stages: Shock – Denial; Pain – Guilt; Anger – Bargaining; Depression; The Upward turn; Reconstruction – working through and Acceptance- Hope.
The third stage in the transition process for me was Embracing the New ME.
I found purpose clarity by re-evaluating and connecting the OLD ME with the NEW ME with a positive mindset by building up and affirming my Self-Worth, Self -Awareness, Self – Confidence, and Self - Esteem.

Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
For it is [not your strength, but it is] [a]God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
